DAY 1 BEFORE THE CRUISE

RANGOON (YANGON)

International arrival to Yangon, transfer to the Hotel. Lunch in the hotel. In the afternoon orientation tour of the city ending with the visit of the most enchanting and spectacular Pagoda of Myanmar: the Shwedagon. Overnight at the historic Strand Hotel or Chatrium Hotel (or similar 4 stars hotel).

DAY 2 BEFORE THE CRUISE

RANGOON (YANGON) – MANDALAY (BY FLIGHT)

Early morning transfer to the airport for the morning flight to Mandalay.Explore Ava by horse-cart visiting the beautiful 200 year old teak Bagaya Kyaung Monastery, Nanmyin watchtower (27mt. high) and the Me Nu Ok Kyaung monastery. We travel by sampan and coach to Amarapura, the penultimate Burmese Royal Capital (1783) to visit U-Bein Bridge. Embark the ship before lunchtime.

DAY 1 AFTER THE CRUISE

MANDALAY – YANGON (BY FLIGHT)

Visit centralMandalay: Mahamuni Pagoda, Mandalay Hill where spiraling staircases lead to sweeping views of the city and its temples and the nearby Kuthodaw Paya, which contains the world's biggest book, the workshops of gold leave making, tapestry making, woodcarving, marble carving and bronze casting.Lunch in a local restaurant.Transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon. Check-in to the historic Strand Hotel or Chatrium Hotel (or similar 4 stars hotel).

DAY 2 AFTER THE CRUISE

YANGON - DEPARTURE

Flight to Yangon. In the morningdrive through Colonial downtownand visit the 1926-built Bogyoke Aung San market (formerly Scott’s Market) dominated by antique, Burmese handicraft and jewellery shops, art galleries, and clothing followed by Sule Paya.International departures.
